Israel's Dark Hour

Here is a link to last week's Wednesday night study at Calvary. Jesse does the call to worship, and for the time being, I get to teach the study. But the day is coming when roles will be reversed!

Calvary of Albuquerque Webcast - Israel's Dark Hour

The topic is idolatry in Ezekiel 8, a powerful and poignant section of scripture. The Lord wants Ezekiel to experience the depth of idolatry at the highest level of Israeli spiritual leadership. Corrupt to the core, Israel is doomed to captivity, but the hope of restoration always looms.
The sobering departure of God's Glory follows, in a reluctant sequence, the very Temple is deserted. A sad and serious warning for those who
would make the One True God anything less than He is. Whether it is Dagon or doctrinal idolatry, the end game is the same- degrading of God's image. Ultimately, He will not tolerate that.
