A Piece of Passion in ABQ

Kristian Stanfill and his band are in town for the annual Weekend event.
He comes from Atlanta and has the 'Passion' worship DNA of Tomlin, Redman & Crowder.
Kristian toured with Passion Worldwide and I am looking forward to a Vertical worship night.

Nashville: Happy Birthday Marty

Nashville is Music City. Home to America's country music studio's and stars.
But, for one week a year, Nashville opens it doors to Gospel Music Week.
The clubs around Broadway like B.B. King's host Christian showcases of new and familiar talent.
There have been some high times here, Third Day, D.C. Talk, Switchfoot, et.al.
Just back from this year's edition.  Not one of the glory days- but good to catch up.
Ran into Marty Goetz at dinner,  lots of other old school guys there too. It's one of those deals where you are in an elevator with Jeremy Camp and The Barlow Girls are in work out room.
Uh- it's good to be home.

Finally

I really wanted to see a moose this time while I was in Montana.
Then, last night, at Famous Dave's, I saw one. Cool.
But now it won't stop looking at me.

Heidi & Co.

Heidi Summer hanging out with the Sheriff of Luskoland north. Believe it, she is the boss of me. (Sweet Lenya in the background, don't be fooled by Alivia's innocent smile. She is her dad's daughter).

A River Runs through here

The Flathead Valley of north Montana is sweet. Feels like Colorado in the late 70's. That's my frame of reference. Yippee.

Look who I found...

..on the way to Montana, my son Levi and his wife Jennie  & I crossed paths at the Salt Lake Airport. He and Jennie were
celebrating their five year anniversary. They are on the way to a little holiday in So Cal.
I am on my way to assume his identity, children and church in Montana. It was a treat to see them.

22,000 humans at our Easter services

39 degrees at Lobo Stadium for Sunrise service. It was WARMER in Whitefish, Montana for crying out loud. In the past 24 we had hail, snow, rain & lightening. And yet 15,000 came to the service and 7 k more back at the church for two other services. And this is not a pastor's 'Evangalistic Count.' (but I did include children)
Video's of Randy Travis etc above & below, more thoughts when my brain thaws.

Jesse spent part of his Bible College Spring break in Montana with the Levi Clan.
He landed in ABQ last night and promptly proposed to Bekah V. soon to be Bekah L!

Can't wait to get up there next week-filling in for Levi & and see the girls: Alivia & Lenya. Happy days.

Two Favorite Signs

Here are two of my favorite signs: Coffee and the Colorado Flag!
From Pagosa Springs, Colorado on a Wolf Creek Snowboard day.
Just behind me, is the Springs Resort with dozens of natural hot
springs, excellent for sore quads after boarding.
